My macbook was on (i was wokRkimg with it) and my cat spilled alittle bit of water in some of the keyboard buttons including the power button. I cleaned the water and turned my laptop off inmediately. I cleaned the buttons again until is was totally dry. After i tried to turn the co,puter on and it did not turned on (I tried swas veral times). I checked if the baterry was working and press the button on the side of the laptop and it showed me that the baterry was charged but still was not turning on. I opened tha laptop to try to turn it on directly wih the power cord and when it was trying to unplug the laptop’s baterry I touched a connction fom the poug in the motherboard and two sparkles came up of there. After that my computer turned on and i saw that basically eveything was working properly except the keyboard, the power button and it didn’t showed to me the amount of charge on the battery anymore. I think the baterry is working fine but the connector in the motherboard got a little damaged.
